VBA macros & automation

Turn a 5-day process into one click.

Do you need help with a VBA macro? We create any Visual Basic application in Excel to match your custom functions and speed up manual tasks through automated processes — reliable, documented and built to last.

What we automate with VBA

Report generation

Pull data, refresh pivots, format, PDF and email the monthly pack — automatically, on schedule, with no copy-and-paste.

Data import & consolidation

Combine dozens of files or system exports into one clean table, validate them and flag exceptions.

Custom user forms

Guided input screens with validation so staff enter data correctly the first time — and can't break the workbook.

Custom functions (UDFs)

Business-specific calculations you can use like any Excel function, tested and documented.

System integration

Connect Excel to databases, APIs, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, or to your cloud portal.

Macro rescue

Debugging, speeding up and documenting macros someone else wrote — and removing the "click Enable Content and pray" step.

Built to last

Automation you can trust and maintain

Long manual input isn't just slow — it's where errors get into your data, and therefore into your results. We were able to turn a 5-day process into one click for a client because we took the time to understand the whole workflow, not just the step they asked about.

Every macro we write has clear error handling, comments, and a short guide. If VBA isn't the right tool — for example when your team works in Excel Online — we'll say so and recommend Office Scripts, Power Query or Power Automate instead.

Show us the manual process

A short screen-share or written steps is enough. We'll spot what can be automated.

Fixed quote & build

We build in a copy of your file, test with your real data and show you it working.

Handover & support

Documentation and a walkthrough. Pay in full only when you're satisfied — and the same team supports it afterwards.

Questions about VBA

Will the macro work on Mac and in Excel Online?

VBA runs in Excel for Windows and Excel for Mac (with some limits on Mac). Excel Online doesn't run VBA, so if your team is browser-based we'll recommend Office Scripts, Power Query or Power Automate instead.

Can you fix or extend an existing macro?

Yes. We regularly debug, speed up and extend macros written by former staff or contractors, and we document them so the next person isn't stuck.

Is VBA secure?

We write macros to be safe and transparent: no hidden network calls, clear error handling and, where needed, digitally signed projects so your IT policy allows them.
